What happens when an award winning Creative Director meets an award winning Digital Creative?
After taking some time out to inspect Asia’s best waves Tony returned to the advertising industry and met Myke while working on some major campaign pitches. They realised their creative synergy and complementary skillsets. Uninspired by industry thinking, and a shared vision to push creative and digital territories with wild thinking; they founded wildminds agency.
Myke is an early adopter who’s always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible through emerging technology. With diverse digital experience; his skills span across design, branding, digital strategy, events, video and development. After moving to Melbourne in 2002 from Brisvegas; Myke joined CHE Emery Studio inspired by design influencers Gary Emery & Vince Frost. When Myke isn’t feeding his continuous desire integrate branding with digital activation; he escapes the tech reaches for the tent and heads to the outdoors.
Kelly began her media communications career as a travel writer for Discover Australia before taking up a media manager position at Australian Associated Press (AAP). Kelly’s itchy feet took her travelling and upon her return, met an unlikely business partner and founded The Australia Times, a national online media organisation that made independent media aimed to inspire minds. Kelly was kooky enough to join the wildminds team. A self-confessed nerd with a weird obsession with Chinese politics; Kelly enjoys Bikram yoga and fermented grapes.
Tony brings bucket loads of expertise to wildminds agency as an award winning Creative Director. Throughout his career; he has created highly effective marketing campaigns for some of Australia’s (and the world’s) biggest brands. Despite his love of writing and creating, he struggles to concentrate if the waves are perfect and the sun is shining. Tony is married to Sandy and has two girls and two boys; Ivy, Esther, Jack and Max.
